2nd Educational Career Day Nov. 1 at Miller Coliseum
Who: 3,000-plus Rutherford and Cannon county middle school and high school students
What: 2nd Rutherford County Educational Career Day
When: Tuesday, Nov. 1
• Middle school students arrive at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
• Exhibitor lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
(Luncheon business roundtable speakers include Don Odom, Rutherford County Schools director; and state senators Bill Ketron of Murfreesboro and Jim Tracy of Shelbyville, Tennessee)
• Middle school students arrive at 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.
• Job fair from 3 to 6 p.m. for high school students, parents and counselors
Where: MTSU’s Tennessee Miller Coliseum, 304-B West Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro
Why: Hosted by the Manufacturing Leadership Council, businesses, industry, services, medical, military, police, educational institutions and the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce participate in a career day for public, private and homeschooled students.
