Serving the best brown ale in the Shire, The Green Dragon is like being in a scene straight out of The Lord of the Rings. The Dragon is dedicated to the J. R. R. Tolkien, the author of the books.
The Green Dragon doubles as a bar and restaurant and both sides of the menu are as unique as you’ll find in the ‘Boro. With choices like the Sly Rye Porter, brewed by Yazoo in Nashville, The Waldos’ Special Ale and many others to choose from there is never a dull option. Now to the food side of things. You can start in the nibbles portion of the menu which features items like the Gemli Cheese Plate, Beer Turnips, and Stuffed Mushrooms. Moving on to the entrees, you can go on the lighter side things with a Dragon Caprese Salad or Creamy Tomato Basil soup. Feeling something a little more hardy?
