According to a report by USNEWS.com , Central Magnet is the best high school in the State of Tennessee, and ranks #37 nationally for the year of 2017.
According to the USNews.com article, Central Magnet received such a high ranking in large because of their Advanced Placement Program and high test scores.
USNews.com reports 100% participation in Central Magnet’s AP program. They scored a 96.6 on the college readiness index, and out performed the District and State in academic proficiency.
Central Magnet also finished ranked #10 in the nation’s Magnet Schools and #172 amongst STEM Schools.
