Details are at this time slim. Local meteorologists say the air there was very unstable. The pilot was practicing before this week’s Great Tennessee Air Show in Smyrna. The Blue Angels were to appear at MTSU tomorrow to promote the show.

How this will effect this year’s show and appearances has not been released.

In a separate but similar story, a Thunderbird pilot scheduled to perform this weekend had to eject from his jet in Colorado Springs.

We will release details as the investigation into this unfolds.
