Coming off a pasting of Hendersonville last week, Blackman was looking to do the same in a road trip to Rhea County.
The Blaze again cruised, this time, in a 52-21 victory at Rhea County, which went 9-3 last season.
Unlike last week, when Blackman put up 49 by half, this one came a little tougher. Receiver Trey Knox caught a 23-yard toss from from Conner Mitchell for a second-quarter touchdown as the Blaze led 24-14.
Leading 31-14 at half, running back Master Teague dashed 76 yards to put it out of reach in the third quarter.
Blackman (2-0) hosts Coffee County next week.
