Rover Public Transit will be celebrating nine years of service by offering the public free rides and free food on Friday, September 16, 2016. The event will take place at the Rover transfer hub located at 220 West Burton from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
All are invited to participate.
âWe want to show our appreciation to our riders for their loyalty in utilizing Rover,â said Nellie Patton, Assistant Transportation Director. âRidership has grown steadily over the past nine years and surpassed two million riders this summer.â
In addition to free rides, Rover staff will be serving hotdogs, chips, sodas, water, and pastries to all who ride the bus.
âRover has offered Free Fare Day for the last six years and this opportunity will enhance the Cityâs ongoing commitment to providing the citizens of Murfreesboro continued customer service excellence as well as show our appreciation to our patrons,â said Patton
