On December 16, 2016 at 11:58pm MPD officers were dispatched to 284 Indian Park Drive.  When officers arrived, they discovered a male subject had been shot. Officers administered fist aid and the victim was transported to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital by RCEMS where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives learned that an alleged female victim reported she had been kidnapped earlier in the night by several suspects in Bedford County, had been assaulted, and directed to take the suspects to the 284 Indian Park address.
When the suspects arrived at the Murfreesboro address, several suspects forced their way into the residence and shot one person (who later died as previously stated). The alleged abduction victim was left at the scene and was present when officers arrived.
The family of the deceased has been officially notified. Cesar Lopez-Flores (01/04/1986; 284 Indian Park Drive) was pronounced deceased at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital after being shot at his Indian Park Drive residence.
The investigation is continuing and updates will be made available as soon as possible.
