The Smyrna Lady Bulldogs softball team continued to roll, hammering nearby rival LaVergne, 12-2, Tuesday in a District 7-AAA game.
Smyrna improved to 15-4-1 for the season, while LaVergne fell to 1-6.
In other action involving Rutherford County squads, Stewarts Creek edged Oakland, as the Lady Red Hawks pushed above .500 at 9-8 for the season. The Lady Patriots dropped to 4-5.
Siegel slipped past Riverdale, 4-2. The Lady Stars are now 12-9 for the year, while the Lady Warriors fell to 9-8 overall.
