There was plenty of in-county action involving Rutherford County baseball teams on Tuesday.
Three of the five games involving Rutherford County teams involved in-county rivals taking on each other.
Blackman edged LaVergne, 2-1, as the Blaze improved to 9-7 this season, while the Wolverines dropped to 4-9.
In other games, Riverdale topped Seigel, as the Warriors bumped their record to 13-4-2 this season,w hiel the Stars fell to 10-8.
Stewarts Creek downed Oakland 6-1 as the Red Hawks improved to 12-5 with the win. The Patriots dipped to 8-7 overall.
In Class AA action, Murfreesboro Central Magnet continued to roll, sweeping a doubleheader from District 8-AA foe Upperman. The Tigers topped the Bees, 9-2, in the opener and won a 1-0 pitchers duel in the second game to complete the sweep.
In Class A play, Eagleville pounded Huntland, 12-2, as the Eagles ran their mark to 7-9 for the season.
