When the power of social media works, it works well. Over 20,000 customers sent their love out into the electronic world and that message brought Party Fowl back from behind locked doors. Owner Austin Smith told the Daily News Journal how hard it was to make the original decision to close because the store “never quite got traction.” Apparently, there was more traction than he thought.

“After many of you reached out to share kind words and a tremendous amount of support, we have decided to keep the Party going in Murfreesboro,” said Austin on their Facebook page.

Not only did they reopen, but they chose to expand the menu. More hot chicken, new salads, and a redone brunch has been added to previous offerings. Two of the items of note on the new menu are the Hot Chicken Chorizo Queso and the new additions to their Boozie Slushies.

Some of the other tasty new items include Pimento Cheese and Cheer Wine Jam Appetizer, Chopped Kale Salad, Warm Bacon Spinach Salad, Hot Chicken and Pimento Cheese Omelet, Hot Chicken Street Tacos, a Pimento Cheese Smash Burger, and a smaller portion of Hot Chicken Poutine.

Besides new food items, Party Fowl has added a lot of new drinks. Wishing to put more focus on products from Murfreesboro, the restaurant has expanded their choice of beers from May Day and Hop Springs. Cocktail additions include the New Fashion and Party Punch.

Their brunch has been named as the Best in Tennessee by the Food Network. Food Network’s item of note is the Brunch for Two. It is a 55-ounce Bloody Mary topped with two Nashville Hot fried Cornish game hens, Scotch eggs, fried okra, and half of an avocado. It is a sight and a belly full for two or more. For those with a sweet tooth, Party Fowl offers Stuffed French Toast.

“Had brunch today and the food was amazing. I got the ‘Bird in a Blanket’ and my boyfriend got ‘Nashville Chicken with Stuffed French Toast’ and we enjoyed both dishes,” said Domonique Henderson via Facebook.

With the reopening, Party Fowl wants to become more of a part of the Murfreesboro community They have Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm and all day on Tuesday, and a Brunch Happy Hour from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on the weekends. During the week, they offer Boozie Slushies for $6.00 and Hot Chicken for $7.00. During Brunch Happy Hour, Mimosas are $2.00 each.

“We are also interested in doing more catering,” said General Manager, Nick Crane. “And activities like trivia.”
