Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh promoted Deputy Stephen Lewis to patrol corporal Friday. Lewis will serve as a supervisor on the midnight shift.
Deputy Nick Coble was promoted to patrol corporal Friday by Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh. Coble will supervise the evening shift.
Lewis joined the Sheriffâs Office as a detention deputy in 2003. He was promoted to the patrol division in 2006. He was selected Officer of the Year in 2016. Coble joined the sheriffâs office as a patrol deputy 9-1/2 years ago. He was assigned to the Active Crime Enforcement Unit before being promoted.
