On a brisk, but beautiful, Thursday at McKnight Park, ground was broke on a new concept in sports for special needs children. Miracle Field, a project of  Project One Four , a charitable organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of youth.Their efforts focus on supporting community programs and organizations that promote growth in youth through learning life skills in a safe supportive environment. It is based in Murfreesboro and started by Murfreesboro native and baseball all-star and Cy Young winner, David Price.
The smiles were warm enough to offset the cold win. Especially Carlee. Carlee talked of baseball and soccer and just having the opportunity to have a place to go outside and get exercise.Her smile and excitement was contagious! Happy discussions could be heard how this will not just be a park for special needs but for all children to come together and play.
