Riverdale High School Hosts their First Annual College and Career Signing Day

Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro will host their Inaugural College & Career Signing Day on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 10:00am.

The entire graduating class of 2019, nearly 500 Seniors will be recognized for their post-secondary choices and accomplishments.

While College Signing Days are traditionally associated with students signing athletic scholarships, Riverdale’s ceremony will provide every Senior Warrior the opportunity to be publicly celebrated.

The purpose of the College & Career signing day is to recognize those seniors who have committed to serving our country, they will recognize those students who have acquired the skills necessary to be successful leaders in the workforce, and they will celebrate all students going to TCAT, as well as 2- year and 4-year Colleges/Universities.

Dr. Sidney McPhee, President of Middle Tennessee State University will be the Keynote Speaker. Dr. Michael Torrence, President of Motlow State Community College will also speak. A select number of scholarships and gift cards will be awarded.

Light Refreshments and photo booth fun will be open to all students and guests immediately following the ceremony.

RHS Faculty, Warrior parents & guardians, Rutherford County Board Members, RCS Director of Schools, & Riverdale Alumni/community members, are all invited to attend.
