Description Of Offense : Found Property/Narcotics
On 5/10/2018 at 1521 hours Officer A arrived at the Rover bus stop on N. Walnut Street at W. Burton Street in reference to a drug investigation. Upon arrival the officer did not meet with the complainant because she is a Rover bus dispatcher however the officer did find an unknown amount of methamphetamine-like substance inside a small red zipped up baggie in the trash can beside the bus stop, just as she advised.
The officer then made contact with the bus dispatcher over the phone. The dispatcher advised that an unknown passenger on the bus witnessed an unidentified and undescribed individual toss a small, red baggie inside the trash can. The unknown passenger then told the driver of the Rover bus about the incident.
The methamphetamine-like substance was placed inside of M.P.D. evidence. No further information or suspect information at this time.
