William Howard Hunter, Sr., age 80, passed away at his residence, February 19, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and retired from Heritage Dairies.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Sallie Webb Hunter; brothers, Charles Edward Hunter, Jimmy Wayne Hunter; sisters, Sue Mary Hunter-Jenkins, Jessee Martin Hunter, Allie Francis Hunter Ray; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Faye Hunter. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Faye Pitts Hunter; sons, William Howard Hunter, Jr., Jimmy (Sherri) Hunter; daughter, Penny (Kerry) Hunter-Davis; brother, Aaron Gary Hunter; sister, Jane Hunter Sloan; grandchildren, Shannon Phillips, Trey Hunter, KJ Davis, David Hunter, Adam Hunter, Samantha Hunter, Erica Watts; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Chris Rimes officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers
