Douglas E Stanphill, age 55 of La Vergne, TN went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Doug was born in Nashville, TN on October 7, 1963. Doug worked as a Building Inspector for the City of Brentwood.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Stanphill.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Lori Stanphill; mother, Priscilla Skinner; former step-father, Joe Don (LJ) Skinner; father-in-law, Robert McCracken; mother-in-law, Jo McCracken; sister, Cindy (Brock) Patterson; sister-in-law Debbie (Mark) Hall; brother-in-law, David (Janna) McCracken; nieces, Olivia Patterson, Amanda Hall & Tori McCracken; nephews, Matt (Taylor) Hall & Riley (Kendra) McCracken.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM â 8:00 PM on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be private.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or to Alive Hospice in loving memory of Douglas E Stanphill.
