MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After completing a four-game homestand to open up the season, Head Coach Kermit Davis and the Blue Raider men’s basketball team make the short trip to Nashville for Thanksgiving weekend to compete in the third annual Challenge in Music City.
Middle Tennessee will take on UNC Wilmington Friday at 7:30 p.m., Toledo Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Evansville Sunday at 5:30 p.m. All games in the three-day event will be played at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

The Blue Raiders will be facing UNC Wilmington for the first time in the history of the two programs on Friday, hold a 3-1 record all-time against Toledo and are even at 1-1 against Evansville all-time.
Middle Tennessee has been led offensively by senior forward JaCorey Williams at 19.8 points per game while Reggie Upshaw is pitching in 16.3 points and a team-high eight rebounds per game.
Upshaw also leads the Raiders in assists (14) and blocks (7) while junior guard Giddy Potts is averaging 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds on the year.
