Parents interested in magnet schools, Oakland International Baccalaureate program should attend upcoming information nights 

Rutherford County’s three magnet schools and Oakland High School’s International Baccalaureate program will hold upcoming information nights for parents.

Those parents who are interested in applying for the program for the 2017-2018 school year should plan to attend or contact the schools soon for additional information.

·      Central Magnet School (grades 6-12) will host its information night at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

·      Thurman Francis Arts Academy (grades K-8) will host its information night at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

·      McFadden School of Excellence (grades K-5) will host its information night at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

·      Oakland High School will host an information night at about its International Baccalaureate program on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
