Mi Camino Real in Smyrna has permanently closed after nearly two decades of serving the community.
The restaurant, located at 1890 Almaville Road, announced the closure on social media Tuesday morning. Owners said they had hoped to remain open through the end of the month, but that plan was no longer possible.
“We would like to thank you guys for almost 2 decades of support for our business,” the restaurant shared.
The closure has left many longtime customers saddened, with community members sharing memories of family meals, favorite dishes, and appreciation for the restaurant’s staff. Several customers said Mi Camino Real had become a family go-to, with some noting they had been visiting the restaurant for several years.
Mi Camino Real’s closing marks the end of a familiar gathering place for many Smyrna residents who have supported the restaurant throughout its 18 years in business.
