Celebrate 15 years of The Grumpy Bookpeddler with a day of shopping, books and local vendors. Visitors can browse books inside the store while checking out featured vendors outside, including handmade tumblers and other items. The bookstore will not be buying or trading books during the event, and guests wishing to use store credit are encouraged to bring books in earlier in the week.

Murfreesboro Little Theatre will present William Shakespeare’s *Twelfth Night* at Oaklands Mansion, along with its inaugural Bard’s Faire. Before each performance, guests can explore “A Midsummer Night’s Market” featuring local artisans, vendors and interactive educational exhibits beginning at 5 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs for the 7 p.m. outdoor performance. The inaugural Hammer Drop Barfield Crescent Mountain Bike Race + Festival will bring riders to Barfield Crescent Park for a day of racing on the park’s mountain bike trails. Hosted by MOAB Bike Shop, the event will feature twisting singletrack, challenging climbs and fast descents for riders of all skill levels, whether they’re competing for a podium finish or simply enjoying the trails.
