Lots of Rutherford County players had huge Week 2 performances; here are our top picks for Offensive Players of the Week.

Kemari McGowan, Middle Tennessee Christian

The Middle Tennessee Christian running back ran 29 times for 187 yards and three touchdowns. However, MTCS dropped a home contest to Grace Christian Academy, 26-22, on a last-minute touchdown.

Savion Davis, Riverdale

Riverdale’s Savion Davis came up huge in Riverdale’s 24-7 win at Franklin. Davis ran 30 times for 206 yards and three scores on Friday. Here’s a look at Davis in action in that game.

Master Teague, Blackman

Blackman vs Rhea County Football Score 08-25-17

Teague is quickly (and unsurprisingly) becoming a fixture on this list. The Ohio State commitment ran 16 times for 163 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Blaze to an easy 52-21 win over Rhea County. You can see game highlights of Teague’s evening here.

Ethan Cobb, Eagleville

Eagleville quarterback Ethan Cobb was efficient, to say the least, in the Eagles’ 31-6 rout of Cornersville. The junior was 16-of-17 passing for 158 yards and two touchdowns, and ran 13 times for another 129 yards and two scores.

Lelan Wilhoite, Siegel

Ravenwood knocked off Siegel by a 45-42 count last Friday, but that had nothing to do with Lelan Wilhoite. The Stars’ running back accounted for 363 total yards and four touchdowns, showing why he’s one of the area’s best players. You may see video of his night here.
