TDOT announces crews will be closing the intersection of Broad Street and Memorial Boulevard/Old Fort Parkway November 3rd through the 6th. The closure will take effect at 8 p.m. on Friday, and last until 5 a.m Monday.
Law enforcement will assist in traffic as need be over the weekend. Detour signs will be posted as well, ensuring drivers can still reach businesses in the area.
In 2016, the Tennessee Department of Transportation lost three workers in the line of duty. All three were struck by passing motorists. Those tragedies bring the total number of TDOT lives lost to 112. We donât want to lose another member of our TDOT family.
