Rutherford County Schools
Local participants from Area 16 Special Olympics held the first two annual bowling tournaments that take place every fall.
Rutherford County high schoolers were at Smyrna Bowling Center on Nov. 6, while elementary and middle schoolers will participate in a tournament on Nov. 13.
The bowling tournament is held in addition to the track and field event every spring.
