Ascension Saint Thomas invites Middle Tennesseans to Medical Mission at Home on Saturday, April 13. Participants will receive free medical, dental, and vision care on a first-come, first-served basis from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Mission at Home is a partnership with more than 20 community organizations to provide free pharmacy services, dental services, mammograms, vision services, foot and wound care, lab services, and behavioral medicine.

Developed by the Ascension Health Leadership Formation program as a ministry to the uninsured and underinsured, Medical Missions at Home events have served more than 20,000 Tennesseans since 2008. At last year’s Rutherford County Medical Missions at Home, more than 275 participants received free care.

Event volunteers include over 200 members of the Ascension Saint Thomas Health community, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, chaplains, senior leaders, and hospital staff. Language interpreters and community volunteers will also be present. The following organizations are graciously partnering with Ascension to ensure the event’s success:

Central Magnet High School
