Rutherford County Schools invites students, families, staff, and the broader Rutherford County community to be part of the district’s rebranding process, by participating in the Community Brand Perceptions Survey, which opens on Monday, February 12.

This survey is a pivotal part of RCS’s efforts to engage representative parties directly in the rebranding process, which district leaders have launched to ensure RCS remains culturally relevant in today’s dynamic K-12 educational environment, attracts high-caliber students and staff, and bolsters community pride.

Feedback gathered from the Community Brand Perceptions Survey through Sunday, February 18, will inform the district’s new direction by capturing current perceptions and future aspirations for RCS.

Insights from the survey and subsequent focus groups to be conducted by Rhodes Branding, our K-12 branding and marketing strategic partner, will be essential in shaping the creative vision for RCS’s refreshed visual identity and brand messaging.

This collaborative rebranding process is designed to positively position RCS in Tennessee’s K-12 education landscape by authentically representing the district’s values and unique attributes, and attracting future generations of students and families.

Survey responses will be accepted until Sunday, February 18, with focus group discussions to follow shortly thereafter. Rutherford County Schools anticipates unveiling the new brand in conjunction with the beginning of the 2024-25 school year.
