Winston “Doug” Douglas Vaughn, age 75, of Christiana, Tennessee passed away on August 13, 2018 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
Doug was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was known to be generous to a fault, he would always do anything for anyone at any time. Doug loved working in the yard and playing pool. He was the Field Service Manager for Piedmont Natural Gas.
Doug is survived by his wife, June A. Vaughn; son, DuWayne Vaughn; daughters, Alycia Kliesch and Kristy Stewart; grandchildren, Lakyn Leslie, Jesse Vaughn, Hailyn Stewart, Aniston Stewart and Braylen Spillers; siblings: Jesse Dalton Jr., Wayne Vaughn, Joyce Hardiman, Randal Vaughn, Roselyn Moss, Wesley Vaughn, Sharon Stone and Carmen Adkinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Dalton Vaughn and Ruby Ann Burklow and his brothers, David and John William Vaughn.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A Service will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor Jeff Wertz officiating. Military honors will be provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.
Honorary pallbearers are Doug’s family and friends.
