Robert H. Harrison, age 88, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2018. A native of Clinton, IL, he was the son of the late, Benjamin E. and Pearl Halsey Harrison.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Darryl Whaley will officiate. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jean Wood Harrison; children, Robert Bruce Harrison and wife Cheryl and his children, Jason and Matthew; Janice Lynn Johnston and children, Robbie, Derrick and Joey; John K. Harrison and wife Rose and children, Jonathan, Benjamin, and Rhea; Julie Lee Underwood and late husband Roger and her children, Seth, Lara,
Michael, and Jordan; Melissa Miller and husband Tommy and her children, Weston and Peyton; and Melanie Rooker and husband Rob and children, Emma Grace and Eli; along with many great-grandchildren.
Mr. Harrison was a member of the Central Christian Church. He was a retired Insurance Salesman with the Life Insurance Company of Georgia and later sold Antique Lures, Rods and Reels. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Memorials in memory of Mr. Harrison can be made to the Sarah Cannon Research Institute.
