The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2955 S. Church St. in Murfreesboro will host a job fair from 9 a.m.-noon on Wednesday, Aug. 17, for at least 10 employers seeking to fill more than 500 positions in Rutherford, Davidson, Williamson and Wilson counties.
Employers include Comcast, Surge Staffing, Aramark, True Blue, Tri Star Services, Home Helpers, YMCA Fun Company, Cameron Staffing, Speedway and Goodwill. Openings include warehouse, forklift, printing press, cook, food service supervisor, housekeeping, guest service representative, home health care, child care and other positions. Rates of pay range from $9-12 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
