Detectives have released the identity of the victim from the May 23, 2017 homicide at 2707 S. Rutherford Blvd. The deceased is identified as Jaylin Juan Pritchard (9-6-1997; 6658 Autumn Wood CV, Memphis, TN 38141).
Mr. Pritchard is not a resident of Murfreesboro and had traveled here with a friend the day of the homicide to conduct business of an unknown nature. It is believed he was shot while in a vehicle parked in the parking lot near the 1000 building at 2707 S. Rutherford Blvd.
The Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating this and anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP(7867).
