Here are new music picks for this week which includes two reality show judges- Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, Reba, Eddie Montgomery, and Gary Clark, Jr.
Blake Shelton – “God’s Country”
‘The Voice” coach has found time to release a new song titled “God’s Country” a preview of a new project to be released later this year.
ââGodâs Countryâ is a song that has a strong and deep meaningful lyric, but at the same time it leaves it up to the listeners interpretation,â Shelton said in a release. âBut no matter where you are from or where youâre standing it is my belief that youâre standing in Godâs Country. Itâs really about a state of mind. Wherever youâre from and how you feel about that place. For me itâs about being from Oklahoma â where I was born, raised and still live today.â
Luke Bryan – “Knockin’ Boots”
The song, written by Hillary Lindsey, Gordie Sampson and Jon Nite, is the first of new music coming from Luke by the end of 2019.This spring Luke continues at the judges table for the second season of ABCâs American Idol and will launch his âSunset Repeat Tourâ on May 31 with special guests Cole Swindell and Jon Langston.
Reba- “Freedom”
Reba just released this new song “Freedom” and the entire album Stronger Than the Truth releases today, Friday, April 5. Jay Brunswick, Tommy Cecil, Jaida Dreyer and John Pierce wrote the lyrics for “Freedom.” If Jaida Dreyer sounds familar, she won the “Real Country” reality show competition.
Eddie Montgomery – “King of the World”
Written by Troy Jones, the quirky but catchy song features the rough-hewn baritone of Eddie Montgomery. âWhen I heard it, I immediately thought of my neighbor,â commented Montgomery in a release. âI call him âmy crazy-a** Cajun buddyâ and this song is him.â âKing of the Worldâ was shot at a cabin just outside of Nashville Tennessee. Watch it here.Â

Guitar man Gary Clark Jr will play three shows at The Ryman this weekend and only a few tickets remain. Clark just released his latest album “This Land” and those who attend the concert will receive his latest album. Clark previously performed at Pilgrimage Festival in 2017.
