For those that thought today was it for winter weather this week. This was just the prelude. We will be on the front end of what some meteorologists are saying may be the biggest winter storm they’ve seen on the East Coast in awhile. A Blizzard watch has been issued for most of the East this weekend. A Winter Storm Watch goes into effect 1/20 for us.

Storm watch…Which is in effect from Friday morning through
* timing…6 am Friday until noon Saturday.
* main impact…Snow on roads and bridges will create hazardous
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant
Snow…Sleet…Or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
Ahead of this will be copious amounts of rain and possibly strong thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening.
