The next 24 hours will be a mix of all things winter as approaching back to back cold fronts will bring winds, rain, wintry mix and then just snow. Don’t get excited. It’s not going to be a sledding snow. It’s going to be more of a causing road problems snow. TDOT has begun brining ahead of the first system which will bring rain before 2:00 p.m. Latest forecast models show dropping temps and the rain mixing with snow by our evening commute. Winds will increase and a 40%-60% chance of snow showers will continue through Tuesday. With temps not expected to get above freezing until Thursday, secondary roads will be the primary issues.
