As a surface pressure gradient becomes better established across
Middle tennessee as the day progresses…Breezy sustained winds
Of 15 to 25 mph are expected…With occasional gusts to 30 to 35
Mph. Especially for locations in an area along and west of the
I-65 corridor and along and north of the i-40 corridor…Occasional
Gusts to around 40 mph or slightly higher may be possible. As
Additional cloud coverage moves into the mid state as the afternoon
Hours progress…The potential for wind gusts should begin to decrease.
Wind gusts may have the potential of blowing down a few weak tree
Limbs…Along with making driving at times difficult…Especially
For high profile vehicles. Use extra caution while driving on area
Roadways through the afternoon hours.
