Saturday night at Bridgestone Arena, the Willie Nelson tribute event called Willie:Life & Songs of an American Outlaw took place with over 20 artists performing. It was an all-star line-up, including Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Dave Matthews, Jimmy Buffet, Lyle Lovett, and Sheryl Crow, just to name a few.
A big highlight of the evening was when the two Texas natives – George Strait and Willie Nelson – took to the stage to perform together, a first for the two country music legends.
The two performed “Sing One with Willie” and “Good Hearted Woman.”
In case you missed it, the show will air as a special on A&E but no date has been released yet.
