Vehicle Fire on I-24 in Murfreesboro Quickly Contained

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department responded to a vehicle fire earlier today on I-24 eastbound near the 83-mile marker.

Crews arrived quickly and brought the situation under control. No injuries were reported.

Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted during the response but has since returned to normal.
