Murfreesboro Police detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at Saddlebrook Apartments that left two men dead early Tuesday morning. More Crime News
Officers were called to the complex around 1:44 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, where they found two men with gunshot wounds. Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services personnel pronounced both dead at the scene.
Preliminary findings indicate one man shot and killed the other before turning the gun on himself outside the complex’s F-building. Detectives confirmed the two men knew each other, and police say there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The identities of both men are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
The Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate.
