Due to inclement weather, the team portion of the state bowling tournament was postponed on Friday.
In working with the Smyrna Bowling Center and their schedule and trying to do the best to get as much of this tournament in, but keeping teams, family members, and fans safe in travelling to and from the tournament site, the decision was made to resume the tournament on Saturday beginning at noon.
In order to get the tournament in this weekend and keep as few schools/teams from having to stay another night, we have eliminated the Baker matches. Those matches were for the sole purpose of seeding the brackets. We will revert back to the format used up until two years ago in setting the brackets. The Division II brackets will be seeded based on how they finished in their regions.
The Division I brackets will be determined via a blind draw, with the only caveat being that two teams from the same region must be in opposite sides of the bracket. The brackets will be posted on the TSSAA website by this afternoon.
