The 2019 Grand Marshal for the Old Timers’ Festival Parade will be Toni Craddock, a recently retired La Vergne Police Department employee who has served the city for more than 20 years.

Ms. Craddock first started working for the City of La Vergne in November of 1996 at the Collections Department. She started working at the Police Department in October of 1997 in various roles including dispatch, records, evidence, and property. Most recently she served as Executive Assistant to the Chief before retiring in May 2019.

While at the Police Department Toni managed the Christmas for Children and Seniors program on behalf of the police department since the program was first started, helping thousands of families in need during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

“Toni is a sweetheart and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen,” says Chief Mike Walker. “I hated to see her retire but I’m excited to see her being honored by the city she’s served for so many years.”

Ms. Craddock will be riding in the Parade on October 5th and will be formally announced at the Old Timers’ Festival opening remarks by Mayor Jason Cole.
