Volunteer Park, Sharp Springs Natural Area, Rotary Soccer Park and sections of the Smyrna Greenway remain closed due to high water. As in the past, Parks and Town Staff will be prepared to clean-up and perform necessary repairs to get these facilities back online as soon as possible.
The Parks and Recreation maintenance staff has already started clean-up in the few areas where water has receded. Smyrna Parks and Recreation will work closely with the Smyrna Fastpitch League and North Rutherford Soccer League in regards to Volunteer Park and the Rotary Soccer Park. Progress will be based on water levels and weather.
