Three People Charged After Stolen Car Located in Murfreesboro

November 4, 2024 – Murfreesboro officers have detained three people who they say took off running after bailing out of a stolen pickup shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4.

MPD’s Real Time Crime Center License Plate Reader cameras alerted officers of the stolen truck. The Chevy Silverado was reportedly stolen from Kentucky.

Officers spotted the vehicle near Lytle and Middle TN Blvd. The driver sped away, nearly hitting other drivers and then drove through parking lot of the Mason Lodge on SE Broad and stopped with a flat tire in the parking lot of Sanbyrn Hall Condos.

Two males from Kentucky and a female from Christiana were quickly detained after leading officers on a foot pursuit.

The three are facing stolen vehicle and evading arrest charges.
