After standing vacant for 10 years, the former country store building was bought at auction by Phillip and Alanna Vaught in February 2018. Months of hard work and careful planning went into restoring the building. Now, it is once again a proud landmark in the rural community.

Although the Vaughts have no plans to turn the building into a restaurant, after many requests from the public, they are offering a southern Sunday Lunch on July 21 catered by Carolyn Miller.

The cost is $15.95 per person and children under 5 years old are free. There will be two seatings: 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.

The meal is by reservation only. Call 615-653-6018 to make your reservation.

Reservations are required and must be made by Monday July 15th at 12:00pm.

The Buffet Style Meal includes:

  • Sliced Peppered Roast Beef
  • Salad
  • Scalloped potatoes
  • Green beans
  • Homemade yeast rolls
  • Assorted homemade desserts
  • Tea and water

If this is popular, they plan to offer a Sunday lunch every month.
