La Vergne police arrested a teenager for a shooting at an apartment
complex almost a month ago.
19-year-old Jason Hill was arrested Monday evening andtaken to the Rutherford County Detention Center.
On January 24th at 7 p.m. police were called to the Kings Ridge Apartments on Waldron Road. When they arrived, officers found a man with a gunshot wound in his lower torso. The victim had non-life threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
Police believe Hill knew the victim and said the men were involved
in a physical altercation when the teenager pulled out a gun and shot thevictim.
Hill was charged with Aggravated
Assault with a Deadly Weapon and RecklessEndangerment.
