The purpose of the public information meetings is to provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed project and allow TDOT to gather public input for the proposed project. The in-person public information meetings will occur at the dates, times and locations below.

  • September 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Smyrna Event Center, 100 Sam Ridley Pkwy East, Smyrna, TN 37167
  • October 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Coleman Park Community Center, 384 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37211
  • October 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Southeast Community Center, 5620 Hickory Hollow Pkwy #202, Antioch, TN 37013

The public is welcome to visit the public information meetings anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions and submit comments. There will be no formal presentations. The public will have the opportunity to submit comments on any aspect of the proposed project. The virtual public meeting will be available on the project website beginning September 30, 2025, and will provide the same information and opportunity to provide feedback as the in-person meetings.

About the Project

The proposed project would construct new, optional Choice Lanes on approximately 26 miles of I-24 between Nashville and Murfreesboro in Davidson and Rutherford counties. The proposed I-24 Southeast Choice Lanes project would increase capacity, improve travel times and address limited funding to accelerate project delivery.

Persons with a disability, who require aids or services to participate in the meeting, may contact TDOT ADA Coordinator Shanna Chevalier no less than 10 days prior to the date of the meeting at [email protected] or by phone at (615) 741-0465, TTY Relay (877) 831-0298.
