Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant in Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee Athletics have partnered to give away a “Tailgate Takeover” for the Blue Raiders’ football season opener against Vanderbilt on September 2.
“Barbecue and tailgating go hand in hand, and partnering with Puckett’s for a tailgate takeover is the perfect way to tie two beloved Murfreesboro entities together,” said Brad Tammen, General Manager for Blue Raiders Sports Properties. “We’re excited to be able to kick off our 2017 football season with this fun partnership.”
The family-owned, Southern-style eatery will cater a pre-game tailgate meal for one lucky winner and up to nine friends, which will include two meats, several sides, and barbecue sauces. Middle Tennessee State University athletics will provide additional tailgate supplies, including MTSU-branded koozies and water bottles and ten tickets to the Vanderbilt game.
