Nashville Airport shut down this morning, per our flight attendant. She says at least one plane slid off the runway. No departures.

It’s easy, stay home. The front got here very early. It’s very dangerous outside with more than 50 wrecks reported across the Mid-State. Nashville is a complete mess and TDOT is doing it’s best to keep up with the slushy wet snow.
If it hasn’t begun snowing where you are, it will. Latest predictions from the NWS are 3″-5″, up from the original 1″-2″ predicted. Windy conditions are also adding to the problem as temps will hold at around freezing before dropping this afternoon.Temps are not expected to get above freezing until Sunday afternoon.
Here are some tweets from around the midstate:

The drive into the EOC was… Interesting. Seriously, if you don’t need to be out, stay home. pic.twitter.com/oQukKPUn0Y
