The 2016 State Bowling Tournament will resume on Friday, January 29 at the Smyrna Bowling Center. We will continue the tournament without the Baker Format matches that were in place to determine seeding. For Division II, the brackets will be set as they were from when bowling started up until 3 years ago, and that is by their finish in the Region. For Division I, it will be set via a blind draw with the only guarantee being that two teams from the same region be set in opposite sides of the bracket.
The new brackets with lane assignments will be posted on the TSSAA website by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Admission will be $8 on Friday and $10 on Saturday.
The new schedule is below. We tried to set the schedule as late as possible on Friday to give as many teams as possible the option of driving to the center on Friday and not having the hotel expense on Thursday night. Saturday’s schedule is set due to availability of lanes at the bowling center.
