Murfreesboro City Schools has announced that Sonya Cox will serve as the next principal of Erma Siegel Elementary School.
Cox has worked at Cason Lane Academy for the past seven years, including four years as principal and three years as assistant principal.
Her new role also marks a return to Erma Siegel Elementary. Earlier in her career, Cox served at the school as an instructional coach, working alongside teachers to support student learning.
