The Oakland Lady Patriots softball team posted its 19th win of the season Tuesday, besting Siegel, 13-2, in District 7-AAA action/
The Lady Patriots are now 19-8 for the season, while Siegel slumped to 15-15.
In other play involving Rutherford County squads, Blackman and Smyrna split a doubleheader. Smyrna edged Blackman, 4-2, in the first game, but the Lady Blaze avenged that defeat by topping the Lady Bulldogs, 5-2, in the second contest. Blackman is 9-7 after the split, while Smyrna is 22-11.
Two other Rutherford County teams took it on the chin Tuesday, as Macon County swept a pair of games from Central Magnet, 6-5 and 4-2, as the Lady Tigers dropped to 11-11 this season.
Community posted a 10-0 shutout win over Eagleville.
