The Oakland Lady Patriots picked up a District 7-AAA victory, downing rival Riverdale 11-9 in high school softball action Wednesday.
The Lady Pariots are now 8-5 for the season, while the Lady Warriors fell to 10-9—1.
In other action involving Rutherford County teams, Central Magnet rolled past Eagleville 10-1 in a non-district game. The Lady Tigers are now 11-7, while the Lady Eagles fell to 3-10.
