Madison Precinct detectives Thursday night swore out an arrest warrant charging Ashley A. Garcia, 20, of Smyrna, with criminal homicide in connection with Wednesday afternoon’s fatal shooting of Eric Jauregui, 20, inside a car in the parking lot at 117 Gallatin Pike N.
Garcia, who was in the car and was wounded during the gunfire, admits to being part of the plan to rob Jauregui of marijuana and a gun. She will be booked into the Metro Jail upon her discharge from Skyline Medical Center.
Charged Wednesday night with criminal homicide in this case were Josue Mojica, 18 and Ronaldo Conde, 16. Another person, Juan Posada, 18, continues to be sought for questioning.
Detective Chris Cote is leading the investigation.
